About Blogickal

This site began when I was just beginning to learn the craft and wanted a forum to share my experience about that process in the hope of creating a resource for others who were also finding their way to Wicca. As I've become a more accomplished witch, I decided that I want this blog to be something different for me - more of a personal expression of my journey on this path.

I also realized that there are many wonderful witches and pagans who are participating in the blogosphere whom I hope will choose to consider me a friend and a peer and who will visit Blogickal to exchange ideas, to share social and practical support on this often lonely path, and to offer resources and information that we all will find valuable. Blogickal is meant to be light and fun but I also intend it to be a serious source for informative content.

I hope that readers and friends, old and new, will continue to read and comment and I encourage all of you to share your own experiences and stories. What we are able to take from our community is only as valuable as the contributions we are willing to make. I am depending upon you who join us to make comments, ask questions, and share of yourselves honestly and in good faith. My only rule is to respect this space and its members. You certainly don't have to agree with everything said here, and I fully encourage healthy, constructive dialogue. But personal attacks, displays of prejudice or hate, and other forms of blatant disrespect have no place here.

Those who participate in Blogickal are here because we have a common interest in the magickal arts. If you believe that witchcraft and magick are immoral, or you intend to find converts for your religion or community, then Blogickal is not for you.

Bide the Wiccan Law ye must In perfect love and perfect trust. Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill; An ye harm none, do what ye will.

What ye send forth comes back to thee
So ever mind the law of three.
Follow this with mind and heart,

Enjoy this site. May it provide for you the same inspiration that creating it has given me. Blessed be.
