Ten Bucks

. . . to Barack Obama for each person who can tell me what this is:

I heard that someone had done this ... it's a sentence diagram for one of Sarah Palin's convoluted statements during the debate. And I thought the ones that I worked on in high school were hard!

I actually enjoyed sentence-diagramming in middle school. Some people like taking machines apart to see how they work; I like taking language apart.

For Obama's ten bucks, that's a diagram of one of Sarah Palin's sentences.

Looks like Palin's talking points. Noun. Verb. Lie.

I haven't even watched Sarah Palin speaking for more than thirty seconds and I still hear that in her accent. (You know, the thick one she uses when she has no clue what she's saying.) And...what is that up in the top right corner? That's not grammar...

Diagrammed proof that people who shoot wolves from helicopters don't talk good.

For the six commenters to this post, I have donated ten bucks each to the Barack Obama campaign. That's $60, which I believe is being matched this month by other donors. So, the readers of Blogickal have provided $120 to ensure that Barack Obama is our next President.

As the thank you email I received says: "By making a donation today, you have joined more than 2 million people who own a piece of this campaign."

Congratulations!
