After a lovely weekend in the country, I'm back in the city, sitting in my office at my computer, listening to the birds chirping. Sounds strangely the same as when I was sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Well, except for the sirens and the neighbors enjoying their back decks and various other city sounds that remind me where I am.

The pretty female cardinal came to visit a few minutes ago. It's nice to be home.
