Spring Arrives in Boston. Really.
Thalia, my partner in blog mandala crime, had the excellent idea of taking photos from nature to chronicle the seasons and she has another amazing series of mandalas made from recent photos of blooming crocus. Here in Boston, Spring appears to be a bit more shy in making her appearance than she is where Thalia lives. Nevertheless, I went out this grey first day of Spring to see if I could find any evidence. I did.
This is what the first day of Spring looks like in Boston:

I realize that in some philosophies having fun is frowned upon, but I hadn't realized it was a crime! :)
These look great! I like the one with the silhouetted buds.
You know I used to work in Boston and compared to where I am now in New England, if anything Boston is slightly earlier in signs of Spring. Because it's on the water, and I've found cities in general to be a little ahead from the country, because they tend to be warmer. Probably all that asphalt.
